Butow Communications Group Designs Wine Bottle Label for Amador County Sesquicentennial
Label to be Used on Wine Bottles that Showcase Amador County's Wine Industry

Roseville, CA—July 26, 2004—Today Butow Communications Group (BCG) announced it has designed the wine bottle label for the Amador County Sesquicentennial wine bottle that was part of the Amador County display at the Amador County Fair and will be part of the Amador County display at the California State Fair.

Amador County is celebrating the 150th anniversary of its founding in 1854 and the County has been celebrating its sesquicentennial throughout 2004. The celebration continues at the Amador County Fair in Plymouth, which took place from July 22-25, and at the California State Fair in Sacramento from August 20 to September 6. The bottles are part of a display that showcases Amador County wineries and the County’s wine history.

"We're honored to donate our time and effort to design a piece of history for Amador County," said Eric Butow, CEO of BCG. "The label harkens back to the county’s Victorian era and helps promote Amador County and its wines."

"We are really pleased to have Butow Communications Group recognize the value of our wineries in Amador County with their beautiful label design,” said Kim Vinciguerra, Amador County Tourism Coordinator. "We hope that visitors to both the County and State fairs will enjoy our rich wine heritage through these displays."

“The Historic Jackson Business Association is indebted to Butow Communications Group for their label design," said Rhonda Hendricks, the Historic Jackson Business Association Amador County Fair Window Designer. “Recognizing Amador County’s winegrape growers’ and vintners’ contributions to the County and the State of California during this sesquicentennial year is most gratifying.”

The bottle label has the title "Amador County Wines & Vines" and includes the Amador County Sesquicentennial logo designed by Ron Scofield.
