Butow Communications Group Showcases Breadth of Work with Two New Clients
Web site and Marketing Materials for JC Cooks, Logo for Butow Organic Vineyards

Roseville, CA – December 8, 2003 – Today as part of its unveiling of its new Web site, Butow Communications Group (BCG) showed recent projects completed for two clients that illustrate the breadth of services BCG offers to its customers.

JC Cooks, based in Elk Grove, California, is a personal chef service for families and groups of up to 50 people. After relocating from the Bay Area, JC Cooks owner Joyce Cunha needed not only a Web site, but also marketing materials including a logo, business cards, and a new brochure.

BCG worked with Joyce to design all her materials for a price that was less than she expected. What’s more, as a fellow Sacramento Metro Chamber member she received an additional discount. The JC Cooks logo, brochure, and Web site are all linked from the new BCG Web site.

"I had spoken to three other Web designers before I met Eric Butow through the Sacramento Metro Chamber," Joyce said. "I chose BCG because I explained my project to Eric he seemed to relate to it creatively. He demonstrated that he is a great listener because he captured exactly how I had described my vision to him about my Web site and brochure. He combines conscientious effort with innovative creativity and he delivers on time!"

The Butow Organic Vineyards "Anchor B" symbol was designed in 1946 by BCG founder Eric Butow’s grandmother, Clara Butow, as a stencil for their wooden harvest boxes in use at that time. Eric worked with his uncle and aunt, Don and Judye Butow, to revise and perfect the artwork that has resulted in the vineyard logo available for viewing on the BCG Web site.

Don Butow, manager of Butow Organic Vineyards, said, "Actually, the logo is not new—only perfected. Judye and I had periodically worked on it for the last ten years, but it wasn’t until Eric got involved that we were able to perfect our artwork."

About Butow Organic Vineyards
Butow Organic Vineyards was founded in 1946 when U.S. Navy Commander Ernie Butow and his wife, Clara, "dropped anchor" in Redwood Valley, California. The Butows grew grapes and began to make wine for themselves and their friends, and sold their grapes to Sonoma and Napa wineries.
